Calcium carbonate can be extensively used in many industries including plastic, rubber, construction material, paper making, processing, pharmacy, agriculture and feeds with which the material property can be improved while the costs can be decreased. Therefore, calcium carbonate is an indispensable material in the production process. At present, two widerly used calcium carbonates are heavy calcium carbonate and light calcium carbonate.

Heavy calcium carbonates are those that are cut into small granules by machines with different sizes. Their quality depends on the quality and fineness of the natural limestone. They are mainly used in rubber, plastic, paper making, painting, printing ink, adhesive, chemicals, construction material, electron, wire & cable, etc.  

Light calcium carbonate is refined from selected calcium carbonate which undergoes multiple processing and refining. In addition to the quality of natural calcium carbonate, calcination process and chemical reaction conditions also play an important role in deciding the quality of light calcium carbonate. It is mainly applied in rubber, plastic, paper making, painting, printing ink, adhesive, chemicals, construction material, electron, wire & cable, etc.
